The Bluegrass Printmakers’ Cooperative is a thriving print studio in Lexington, Kentucky, where printmakers work and create a dialogue about prints and art. Members exhibit and promote their art throughout the region and educate the community about prints and printmaking processes through exhibitions, demonstrations, and workshops.

BPC began in 2004 with the donation of an antique press. Since then BPC has grown to twenty artists working in all types of print media: collagraphs, monoprints, etchings, woodcuts, linoleum cuts, and solar etchings. BPC’s programs are made possible by the generous support of LexArts, the arts council of Lexington-Fayette County, Kentucky, through its Space to Create initiative.

This selection of works from current members of BPC represents a variety of techniques and imagery.
